Hello!
My name is Rosemary and I like to write, perform, paint, take photographs and drink tea.
I am fascinated by, and am a huge fan of people.
I am passionate about storytelling. About listening, observing, recounting, creating, adapting and performing. About where stories come from and who tells them. About why they're important and to whom.
I am a collaborator. I like imagining up the beginnings of ideas, then sharing them and letting them grow by devising and playing with other people.
I am silly and enjoy making people laugh. But I also can't help myself from unpicking and poking at all the bad and sad and complicated bits of life too. I like making art that encompasses both of these facets.
I am excited by music, film, movement, colour and texture and how these elements can work together.
I am a sort of artistic 'jack of all trades' and enjoy experimenting with combining art forms.
